Krause plans Iowa City fundraiser

There will be a fundraiser for U.S. Senate hopeful Bob Krause at 2 p.m. Nov. 15 at The Mill, 120 E. Burlington, in Iowa City.

The Fairfield Democrat is seeking his party’s nomination to challenge Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley in 2010.

Live music and a cash bar will be featured at the event. Hosts include Roscoe Porch, Paul Deaton and Ed Friedman of Johnson County, Joe Stutler of Linn County and Terry Philips of Washington County.
