Aneloski commits to Nebraska-Omaha

Cedar Rapids RoughRiders defenseman Bryce Aneloski said in a Gazette story last week that he liked the University of Nebraska-Omaha hockey program. He showed how much Tuesday, officially committing to the Mavericks.

Aneloski, 19, is tied for the United States Hockey League lead with 15 points in eight games. His six goals is second in the league.

The Pekin, Ill, resident is in his third season with the RoughRiders. He played a semester last season for Providence College before deciding to transfer and come back to Cedar Rapids.
