The Gazette companies (including KCRG) does not want the dirt dug up in Cedar Rapids, why would they want to shoot themselves in the foot? I mean honestly would you? Trust me there is a reason this tabloid and its on-air tabloid, is very gentle when it comes to the city, and turns its head more than it does not.

It didn't help that they took a bite of dirt from the side of the levee on June 11, 2008 on N Avenue and 1st Street NW!

Michael Moore is a fraud. Watch the documentary "Michael Moore Hates America". See how happy the people of Flint, Michigan are that he came to thier city ….and then left. It humors me that the writer quotes an unnnamed source to say Michael Moore's only interest is exposing fraud. The same tactic Moore uses in the fictional movies (based on half truths) he creates. They are not documentaries by any definition of the word. Michael Moore's only interest is making money for himself through the capitalist system. You have a problem? Get up and do something about it. Don't hold your breath waiting for Moore to come solve it for you.

KGAN have investigative reporters. We should go back to 1967 also when the Army Corp of Engineers predicted a flood of almost the exact magnitude as the one that hit CR in 2008 and they said that CR should protect the neighborhoods from the waterways. The city's response was that it would affect the appearance of the Cedar River! The flood of 1963 was only one foot from coming over the dike on 1st Street NW! If the wealthy of the community lived in the flooded areas, something would have been done along time ago. Such discriminating disparities our society condones and tolerates and they know that they are guilty of it besides!

You wouldn't need to start with the flood, you could start well before that. Go back to sewer gate and keep digging, that story only scratched the surface of who was getting payola I am sure. Lots of dirty laumdry out there, but no one with the intent to expose it for the dirty little story that it is. So it doesn't see the light of day. Paper doesn't even have an investigative reporter, so how could they dig up dirt? KCRG let their one star investigative reporter go to Salt Lake where she continues to dig up dirt, I guess they didn't want any more dirt than what they found and decided enough was enough.
