my history is quite well read, thank you very much. perhaps you were not able to see this as cynicism. we, as citizens of this country, have less than appreciation for the foundation of the electoral system, and we treat it as such in lack of reverence and concern about positions that would assist us to survive and stop interest supported hierarchies from usurping our liberties. to have this only candidate step forward to continue this position shows that we are indeed the people of River City in the Music Man and have been blind to other people giving up responsibility and taking the power and giving it to someone who may have to have pocketbooks of others to sustain him.
