One person was airlifted from the scene of a tractor and car collision north of Newhall in Benton County just after 7:30 p.m. Monday night.

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office says a 48-year-old woman and her 11-year-old daughter were in the car.

The deputy on scene told KGAN CBS 2 that the unidentified driver of the tractor didn’t see the car coming and pulled out in front of it.

At least one person was airlifted from the scene. An ambulance also left with somebody inside of it.

There’s no word on how bad the injuries are, but authorities said they didn’t think they were life threatening.

Joann Frances Sebetka age 42 of rural Atkins was westbound on 70th street 1 mile northeast of Newhall. A farm tractor pulling a hay bailer driven by Douglas Lee Erger age 53 of RR Atkins was headed south on 27th avenue we he failed to yield at a stop intersection and pulled into the path of the Sebetka vehicle.
