Marengo home damaged by fire

house_fire_logoMARENGO — A Marengo family is staying in a hotel this weekend after their home was damaged in a fire Saturday afternoon.

The fire happened at 1768 R Avenue in rural Marengo.

Few other details are being released at this time but we do know that the family of three is being assisted by the Grant Wood Area Chapter of the Red Cross.
