Man charged after drive by shooting in Waterloo

PoliceLights2Shortly before 4 p.m., Waterloo police responded to a report of a shooting at 905 Logan Ave. Witnesses told officers that three shots were fired, and one shot hit the house at 905 Logan Ave.

Witnesses at the scene also gave officers a description of the suspect vehicle. About an hour after the shooting, officers located a vehicle and two subjects were detained.

The driver of the vehicle, Anthony Jackson, 21, was arrested and booked into the Black Hawk Co. Jail. Jackson is charged with terrorism, going armed with intent, possession of a firearm as a felon and carrying weapons.

    20 years to life. these are the kind of crimes we should not tolerate. end drug prohibition and free up prison space for drive by shooters!!!!!! no time off for good behavior!!!
