Man attacked in Waterloo convenience store

Domonique Turner, 19, of Waterloo, was rushed to Allen Hospital after he was assaulted at a convenience store.

Authorities said that at around 3:15 p.m., Turner was attacked by an unknown suspect and suffered head injuries at the Kwik Star at 707 Broadway St. in Waterloo. Authorities than transported Turner to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City for injuries they say were life-threatening.

Waterloo Police are still investigating and as of now, have no details on the suspect.
