Robbery caught on Iowa City mall camera

videocamera An Iowa City robbery suspect was caught on a Sycamore Mall surveillance camera.

The suspect robbed a female victim in the parking lot of the mall around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

After a struggle, the woman fell and the suspect ran off towards Highway 6 with the victim’s purse.

Police say they hope to release the surveillance video of the robbery later today.

I think the suspect was actually running off towards the *other side* of Hwy. 6.

Too bad the robber wasn't caught in real life instead of just the robbery caught on camera.
