Flood Recovery
VIDEO: Ashton Kutcher, GQ teaming up for Cedar Rapids flood relief

Actor and Cedar Rapids native Ashton Kutcher is helping flood recovery in this month’s GQ Magazine.
It’s on newsstands this week.
Inside, there’s a story-like ad from Kutcher on the floods.
It’s actually promoting a special magazine from GQ’s Gentlemen’s Fund. It’s a photo essay showing the devastation from last year’s flood, the recovery so far and what’s left to do.
It says proceeds from that special magazine will benefit the Cedar Rapids School District’s flood recovery.
You can learn more in this month’s GQ magazine and on their website.

Ashton,
Thank you for your support to those afflicted by the flood of 2008. I am a resident of Cedar Rapids, IA and involved with the continued clean up of this disaster that has left numerous families displaced. The slow process and mold filled homes that are existing concerns me as well. Grateful for all those that give their time and efforts.
I read the article in GQ, its in the latest addition. Outstanding piece of work. I was living out of state when the flood occurred and have since moved back. I was in touch with family/friends during the time, and to see and hear the stories of how the residents responded made me proud to be a Iowan.
In the real world he is a TERRIBLE TIPPER ………. LIKE 0 ….who does he think he is when the flood victim is a waiter and trying to just survive on minimum wage and he leaves nothing for a tip…….who is he really helping besides himself ……..
I'm sure he tips for efficient friendly service
He does enough for social causes to excuse a bad tip or two. Maybe Demi is tight with his allowance.
Lets think outside the box kiddies ……When your that well off and you see people busting there buts providing everthing you want but wiping your ass ..You would think they would have enough common sense to think hey these people are working hard for me and my tag alongs providing excellent service that Me keeping the tip doesnt help my lifestyle but if i leave a good tip because they provided a service and this will put food on there table for there family ….What would a descent person do? but then again thats how ELIETEST BEHAVE ….
Ashton is not only a terrible tipper, but if you pay attention in his interviews he glosses over the fact he is even from this area. He only does just enough to keep us off his ***. In my opinion he can keep denying Iowa and we'll continue not to support his career. TIT FOR TAT my friends
