Iowa State Employee Salary Database

Posted on Jul 09, 2009 by Admin.

culver_1More than 1,700 state employees earned more than Iowa Gov. Chet Culver last year. Want to find out who?

The Iowa salary database contains information about more than 60,000 state employees employed in Iowa during fiscal year 2009 which ended June 30, 2009.

The database can be searched by name, department, gender and county.

The database is based on electronic information collected by the Iowa Department of Administrative Services which publishes the state salary book.

Search tips

Listings are searchable by last name, department or county of employment. When searching by last name, your search will return records for all employees whose last names contain your search term (i.e., “Smith” would return John Smith as well as John Smith-Jones). Any field can be left blank to search everything within that category.

  1. Iowa's football coach is paid more than Oregon and Oregon State's football coaches combined plus an extra million on top of that, however, both Oregon and Oregon State finished ahead of Iowa last year in the final polls. Why is Iowa paying more than double for average results?

  2. Hugs4u says:

Highest paid crime boss in the state.
