Iowa woman’s murder case still in jury’s hands

Posted on Oct 26, 2009 by admin.

Jury deliberations were set to resume for a Boone woman charged with first-degree murder in the death of her husband.

The Pottawattamie County jury deliberated for three hours Friday before breaking for the weekend and resuming its work Monday morning.

The jury is considering the case of Jessica Hill, who is accused of participating in the killing of her husband, Michael Hill. He was killed in May 2007 while working at an Ogden sheep farm.

Jessica Hill has admitted to having an affair with Daniel Blair, who has been convicted of first-degree murder in the case.

The case was moved to Pottawattamie County because of publicity about the killing.
