Veterans Day closings

City, county and federal government offices will be closed Wednesday in observance of Veterans Day, as will state and federal courts.

Post offices will be closed, and there will be no residential mail delivery except for special delivery.

Public libraries in Marion and Coralville will be closed. Those in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and Hiawatha will be open regular hours.

City buses will run regular schedules in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and Coralville.

Parking meter time limits will not be enforced in Cedar Rapids, but they will be in Iowa City.

Garbage will be picked up along Wednesday routes in Cedar Rapids. In Iowa City, Wednesday pickup will be delayed till Thursday.
