Floyd County woman hospitalized after spending night in car

An 86-year-old Marble Rock woman is hospitalized after spending a night in her wrecked vehicle along a Floyd County road.

Floyd County officials say Charlotte Owen of Marble Rock was found in her vehicle early Thursday morning.

The Iowa State Patrol said the crash happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday.

According to State Patrol reports, Owen lost control of the vehicle, striking trees and a culvert.
