Physical evidence of 9/11 stands on its merit

Posted on Sep 11, 2009 by Jeff Tecklenburg.

As we commemorate the anniversary of the horrible events of eight years ago, it is our patriotic duty to those who died that day and since to ensure that justice was properly directed.

Like nearly everyone, I never suspected physical evidence problems at the time. Not having training as a materials engineer, it did not occur to me that steel and concrete buildings could not unravel at near freefall speed and disappear into dust. Every picture of Ground Zero proves that most of the building debris could not be accounted for in the only places possible: surrounding the complex, above or below ground.

How have our lives changed since that day eight years ago? Today, we look over our shoulders, suspicious of folks of Arab or Middle Eastern descent, consider discriminatory emotions toward anything Muslim as rational and have to deal with unprecedented encroachments on our privacy in nearly every aspect of our daily lives.

We are fighting two wars seeking retribution for the perpetrators of this crime. Thousands have died on both sides. To dismiss looking back after we have acted in response, that our understanding is ingrained in our minds, does not affect the facts nor does it excuse us from evaluating the physical evidence once we learn of its existence, no matter how distasteful.

On this day of mourning, resolve to ensure that our country lives up to its reputation for being constantly vigilant, correcting its mistakes in the pursuit of truth.

  1. to even think for a moment that 'W' was able to organize a team to wire two buildings to implode (a process that even demolition experts have said would take MONTHS) in a city of over 9 million people and NO ONE saw a thing – AND arrange for 4 planes to be hijacked…doesn't that sound a little far-fetched?

    • How about WTC#7. That was apparently ready to go as well.

    • Hugs4u says:

No gw buffoon could not organize anything, but cheney could of. And they needed 9/11 to happen to take peoples minds off them stealing the election. That is why they ignored all the warnings it was going to happen.

  2. This letter is beyond credulity, what is the Gazette coming to?

    • shotfeel says:

"Simply disgusting" is my reaction to it.

Truthers take every little bit of info _they_ can't understand as evidence of some kind of conspiracy. The fact that their pathetic theories can't explain any of the evidence either doesn't seem to bother them. They just figure there's more to the conspiracy than they know, instead of the simple answer -they're idiots.

  3. KarmaDog says:

Lots more evidence here, if you're open minded enough to look at it

  4. The 911 story that the mainstream media has perpetrated is pure fiction.

No, "W" couldnt even form complete sentences, let alone plan something like this. It was planned before he even took office.

Remember all the fuss about the short selling of American and United Airlines stock prior to 911? That was pretty much dropped once it was traced back to the CIA.

At least one of the towers was closed the weekend before 911 for "network cable upgrades" Electricity (and surveilance cameras) were shut off during this time. This is all confirmed by at least two IT people testimonials as they backed up their companies data prior to this shut down. They also reported a lot of dust and drilling during this ttime. You may also recall that it has recently hit the media that military grade thermite was confirmed to be present in the dust immediately after the collapse of the towers.

Not just with the WTC collapse, but there are also major issues with the official stories of what happenned to the Pentagon and also the Shanksville, PA crash. There is so much evidence that contradicts the official story that It would take several books to cover it all.

What I have found is that the people who believe the official 911 story have never done any additional research. You owe it to yourself and country to look into this.

    • shotfeel says:

Yes, because network cable upgrades don't require tapping into the electrical grid or require drilling to run cable and mount equipment, so no dust should have been created during this very messy procedure.

Sorry, you obviously don't know what "pure fiction" is. Simply pathetic.

"Hey, get this. I hear one of the (hundreds) of people who work there stayed home sick that day. That's proof that he knew about the attack. He was probably in on the whole thing."

    • If your additional research includes sites like the one mentioned in the above letter, then your additional research is garbage!

  5. No, not the 9/11 truthers again. Pathetic.

  6. The fact that the Gazette gave this kook free advertising is what really makes me mad.. The guy is trying to hock his tin foil hat website. Pathetic!

  7. 23streets says:

Oh My, question the Goverment story and you get called names! I say keep up the questioning I don't believe anything the Bush Administration claims occured.

  8. I’m sure you liberals are certain GW was behind the February 26, 1993, Islamic terrorists attempt to bring down the World Trade Center towers by detonating truck bombs in the underground parking garage. The attack fails to topple the twin towers but kills six and injures over 1,000. June 25, 1996, the Khobar Towers are bombed by Hezbollah with Iranian backing. Nineteen U.S. servicemen perish and 372 are wounded. August 7, 1998, Al Qaeda bombs the U.S. embassies in Nairobi and Tanzania, killing 225 and wounding 4,000. August 7, 1998, Al Qaeda bombs the U.S. embassies in Nairobi and Tanzania, killing 225 and wounding 4,000. What about in December 14, 1998, Ahmed Ressam is captured on the border between the U.S. and Canada? He later confessed to planning to bomb LAX airport as part of the 2000 millennium plots. Or how about in December, 1998, Jordanian security officials detect and prevent an attack on American and Israeli tourists, arresting 28 suspects that were reportedly part of the 2000 millennium attack plots? And don’t forget, October 12, 2000, Al Qaeda bombs the USS Cole, killing 17 U.S. sailors and wounding 40 near Aden, Yemen. GW masterminded it all, eh?

  9. Gary_E says:

At one time people believed the world was flat because they didn't know any better. Bringing things up you don't understand is a way to build a platform to imagine anything you want. I have no problem giving kooky ideas the right of free speech we give all. These ideas are no more idiotic than all the drivel written to justify the "public option" to reform healthcare. As citizens we are responsible to know the difference between reasons that sound good and good sound reasoning.

  10. This is the biggest travesty I have ever seen the Gazette put in print , on the very day that over 2000 innocent Americans died at the hands of people bent on destroying our way of life. anyone that would help perpetuate this ugly politically motivated unamerican activity are beyond belief. They are attempting to divert attention away from the most despicable enemy we have ever faced.

  11. 23streets says:

Look at the cover up of the Pat Tillman death. Typical Bush adm. cover up and ruins so many lifes.

  12. 23streets says:

I did, I am, I will, pray for me and I will you….

  13. I can’t resist this moment to remind you liberals about your poster-boy for American security, Bill Clinton. Everyone between 1993 and 2000 who was paying attention, except you blind liberals, knew the threat from Islamic terrorism was serious and getting worse. The catastrophic losses that occurred on September 11, 2001, could just as easily happened in 1993 when the first plot to destroy the World Trade Center was carried off successfully, but the inept terrorists miscalculated the effect of their explosives. Or how about in 1995, when the plot to destroy eleven American airplanes in flight was thwarted by counter-intelligence work in the Philippines. What did the Clinton administration do in response to this grave threat? Zip, nada, nothing. Even more despicable is that Clinton tried to sweep the problem under the rug, lest it disrupt the surface calm and supposed prosperity for which he was eager to claim credit. What a guy you liberals worship.

  14. 23streets says:

Good job Gazette. Iraq did not do anything to us and we attacked them unprovoked. We failed under the Bush Adm. and are paying the price in the division of this country. The US had 3000 people murderd and there has not be a investigation just a cover up. We investigate murders and the Bush Adm. fought tooth and nail to stop the investigation. Re-open and solve the crime.

  15. R_Benn says:

If we are going to talk conspiracy here. I say Bush was a patsy. What really happened was in 1993 the FBI let the bombers succeed in order to give Clinton his moment of glory and secure his reelection. When that failed they wired the building knowing that the "terrorists" would try again, but when Clinton left office they were unable to deactivate because they expected Gore to win. Then Al Gore could give credit to Clinton for leadership and skills he acquired as Vice Pres.

The worlds not flat pot smoking Bud Heavy has a flat head! Commie pot smoking flat head Bud! Do somthing for the good of society and don't do drugs…..

  17. Our government can not even manage social programs (ss, medicare, medicaid) effectively…what makes you think they can successfully orchestrate the largest terrorist attack on US soil?

  18. 23streets says:

You have the halfway part down. That is the behavior of a pot smoker that you brought up in a earlier posting. Don't smoke pot Bud Heavy! Go do something try serving our country!

  19. Freedom of speech is a fine thing isn't it? Where else in the world can idiots spew stories of fantasy? This story and those who embrace it disrepect the victims of this world crime who's participants should be hunted til the end of time. Pete, I got you back on this one bro. Lets place our swords in a circle.

  20. 23streets says:

Peculair1 says pot is Harmless and argues to raise the level of comments above the 3rd grade. Typical Bush lover. Point the blame on other and you break the law! Do not comment Mr P. I have no respect for people like you. Two face

LOL! :) Who said anything about driving? Don't put words in my mouth, please. I consider pot less of a drug than alcohol and nicotine. Both which have killed uncountable numbers of people.

  23. RuGBYZHGT says:

For those interested in commenting, this is what the Gazette saw. Can anyone explain the lack of debris?

September 11, 2001. Just saying this date sends a cold chill up one’s spine. Memories of where we were that day, what we were doing, when we first learned of what happened at the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania are permanently etched in our mind. As the story unfolded, we were told that planes had crashed into all three locations and that the country was under a terrorist attack. When the Twin Towers were destroyed, knowing that several thousand of our friends, neighbors, co-workers, or at a minimum, countrymen had died tore at our heartstrings…

  25. بنات says:

  53. Bud_Heavy says:

  54. Bud_Heavy says:

I bet the ladies like that wild side you got.

  55. ctiger says:

How can you have respect for anyone when you don't have any for yourself.

  56. Bud_Heavy says:

Because I dont believe in protecting m0lesters I dont have respect for myself?

  57. ctiger says:

One of our friends was a member of the Rangers. It was a well known fact that Iraq posed no threat, to him and to my son who ended up in Iraq, when he had volunteered to go to Afghanistan.
I seriously doubt that you would know better than those who had been watching the Persian Gulf region for years. The real and present danger was al- Quida and not Saddam.

  58. ctiger says:

I didn't send my son to war so that you could keep driving your gas guzzler. You're really showing your opportunistic tendencies.
Try going without oil for a month so young people can stop dying.
